- Conduct interviews with sources, attend press events, and gather information in the field.
- Write and read clear, concise, and engaging news articles in fluent English.

- Stay up-to-date on current happenings within the Austrian expat community.
- Closely working with the Social Media Manager on priorities and news-worthy materials.
- Closely working with the audio and video editor on implementing information in info videos.

What do we think you should have:
- A valid working permit for Austria.
- Journalism understanding and experience with a portfolio of published work (we don’t care if you worked as a journalist for one year or ten years – we care about how you work now).
- Exceptional command of written and spoken English.
- Strong research, interviewing, and news writing skills.
- Familiarity with the expat experience in Austria and basic knowledge of German is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility.
