Nearly a Third of Young Austrian Men Are Overweight
Some 21.4% of men born in 2005 were classified as overweight based on their Body Mass Index (BMI), with a further 11.2% deemed obese.

Almost 5% of all healthcare spending in Austria goes towards treating obesity and its related illnesses, which claim around 4,000 lives annually.
