
After a man’s body was found in Leopoldsdorf (Bruck an der Leitha district) during the night from Friday to Saturday, the autopsy results were released on Sunday. According to a statement by the Lower Austria State Police Directorate, the findings indicate that the 24-year-old suffered fatal injuries as a result of a traffic accident. Investigations into the exact circumstances of the hit-and-run crash are ongoing, and police have appealed for relevant information.
24-Year-Old Found Lifeless Beside Roadway: Autopsy Ordered
The lifeless body of the 24-year-old man from the Bruck an der Leitha district was discovered at around 4:25 a.m. by a newspaper delivery worker at the edge of Achauerstraße in Leopoldsdorf. Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate the man, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
Investigations by the Leopoldsdorf police station and officers from the Lower Austria Criminal Police Office revealed that the man had been walking on foot from the direction of Vienna toward the center of Leopoldsdorf. He displayed an unclear pattern of injuries. The Korneuburg public prosecutor’s office ordered an autopsy, which was carried out on Saturday.
