The International is a Vienna-based media outlet that provides daily news, podcasts, and events for Austrian residents who speak English better than German. Our goal is to build a community and sustainable social infrastructures, lowering language and network barriers.
Editorial Mission Statement
We are an independent media service offering English-language local daily news, weekly podcasts, bimonthly events, quarterly magazines, and a job market for expats and international students to build a community where every person from our target group can find what they are looking for.
Our news is in English to keep The International reader from waiting until the language barrier has fallen, so they can start loving and connecting to Vienna. Therefore, our media service offers social and cultural contributions to the integration process. This way, we give a confidence boost to expats and slowly put the bricks towards a conscious community.
