Police officers in Vienna have seized around 7.2 kilograms of cocaine and 69.2 kilograms of marijuana from the homes of suspected drug dealers, according to a press release.

On August 21, officers observed a suspected drug dealer engaging in a handover of drugs in the Wiedner Gürtel area. The 45-year-old man, a Slovenian national, was subsequently arrested. A search of his person revealed roughly 30.1 grams of what was believed to be cocaine. Two others involved in the transaction, aged 38 and 52, were also detained.

Following the arrests, approximately 7.2 kilograms of suspected cocaine, around 69.2 kilograms of suspected marijuana, and €1,020 in cash were confiscated from the flats linked to the three men.

The police have not yet disclosed the street value of the drugs seized, and further investigations are ongoing.
