Amazon Austria Establishes Its First Workers’ Council

The council will represent nearly 700 employees across the company’s logistics sites in Vienna, Lower Austria, Carinthia and Styria.

The closure comes after a wave of bomb threats targeting railway stations and schools in September and October.

The blackout lasted for about an hour, leaving visitors stranded on rides and prompting emergency services to step in.
